Knowing I’m trusted within my team to manage some of these pieces of work which are critical for Woodside’s operations, highlights the confidence my team and Woodside has in my ability.
Mostly, I love the responsibility I am given to manage multi-million-dollar materials autonomously. To be so early in my career, yet given the opportunity to contribute to such critical, base-business work is a massive privilege.
I thoroughly enjoy project work where I can manage a project from start to end and see it implemented within the business and the positive outcomes of it.
It’s awesome to see the successful application of new methods, and to see how carbon financing is helping projects generate high-quality carbon credits, while also creating co-benefits like local jobs and improved biodiversity outcomes.
The thing I love the most about my job is that I get to liaise with different kinds of people and personalities every day. I have always been people-oriented so when I do my job, I get a great sense of satisfaction when people tell me that I was able to help them with what they needed.
Apart from the technical work, I am also working on developing the Power Platform Community at Woodside Energy by organising and promoting training for anyone interested in improving their productivity.
