TWG is a New Zealand success story, founded by Sir Stephen Tindall and evolved from a single The Warehouse store to become one of the largest retailing groups in New Zealand with $3 billion in sales. TWG consists of three core retail brands: The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery and Noel Leeming.

Noel Leeming Commercial is a one-stop procurement partner that leverages the buying power of TWG brands to provide commercial customers with complete solutions. The team is powered by passionate individuals skilled in Account Management, Business Development and Sales Support and they support the needs of commercial customers across all industries and sectors, from owner-operators in trade and construction to largeโ€ฏcorporatesโ€ฏand government agencies.

Noel Leeming Commercial is a key priority for The Warehouse Group and the team is looking for more superstars to join us on our mission to create New Zealandโ€™s most sustainable, convenient and customer-first commercial business.

The Role

Working in a Sales Support role, you will provide a high level of service supporting the sales process for Noel Leeming Commercial. The role will be fast-paced and we guarantee no two days will be the same! Working alongside the Commercial Business Managers and Business Development Managers, you will provide timely assistance with all parts of the sales process ensuring the customer has a seamless experience throughout.

What a day looks like:

  • Quoting and pricing
  • Processing sales
  • Monitoring stock & delivery schedules
  • Following up on deliveries
  • Liaising with both customers and suppliers and responding to requests from the commercial sales team.

About You

To succeed in this role, we are looking for a thoroughly customer-focused individual who is truly passionate about ensuring we keep the customer at the centre of everything we do. We offer full training so donโ€™t worry if you donโ€™t have administration experience, whatโ€™s important is your personality and attitude โ€“ we are looking for someone positive, has a โ€˜can doโ€™ attitude and is ready to roll up their sleeves and support the team.

Success will be summed up with your ability to execute all of the above duties by being a helpful and trusted advisor to key stakeholders such as suppliers and our team members across TWG.  Living and breathing attributes such as collaboration and a growth mindset will come naturally to you, along with thriving in a busy ever-changing environment.

It was very eye opening to see what goes on behind the scenes to get product to customers, especially on the scale that The Warehouse Group operates at!

The coolest thing about this job is the real-life experience. For me is it not a specific task that I have enjoyed the most, it is the new sense of professionalism I have gained.
