Very team dependent, but generally everyone is very approachable and willing to cooperate. Partners are always willing to chat, if you can pin them down. Occasional firm events (e.g. EOFY, Christmas), and sometimes teams go out for drinks on Friday afternoons. A generally supportive and encouraging office culture.

The culture at KWM is sustainable high performance. You are expected to perform highly but there are also clear well being mechanisms in place to ensure this high performance is sustainable. There is a clear hierarchy, as there are with all law firms, but everyone is approachable and there is a lot of scope to learn from those more senior. Most of the socialising outside of the office is with my graduate cohort rather than my immediate team.

It varies with practice area and team. Nevertheless, I've found that in all the teams I've been through that the office culture, teamwork and social aspect has been superb.

There is excellence, but it’s understand we and not in your face. People recognise they are here to do a job, and perform it well, but you can also have a casual chat with them.

The people I work with personally are lovely - very friendly, supportive and professional. I often work directly with senior members of the team. The senior members of my team ask about what I am working on and try to give me work that aligns with my own interests. My peers are friendly, and we get coffee and lunch together.

KWM has a strong culture, both within teams and as an organisation. There are many opportunities to socialise at both levels , and the teams in which I have worked have been tight-knit.

This is team dependent. However, generally, people are friendly and chatty and like to hang out for social things outside of work. There are generally good vibes in the office eg the kitchen at lunch time is full of people chatting and hanging out.

Culture is extremely positive. Most weekends include either formal or informal events organised by either the firm or individuals. The people take in interest in your life beyond work and want to have fun as well as work hard.

Great culture socially. Work-wise they work quite long hours, but there seems to be a fair bit of support around that and a team mentality. Not too much hierarchy between the different levels of lawyers which is great.

My team is respectful, somewhat quiet but still social and very friendly. Not a huge amount of after-work events (appreciated because I'm a non-drinker). Hierarchy is quite flat and I get a good amount of quality work from solicitors and more senior team members, though not a lot of direct contact or work from partners.

Super welcoming and friendly, everyone is lovely and extremely patient and is happy to help and answer questions from new grads! The graduate cohort is really fun as well and gets together and socialises

Hierarchy isn't really something that is obvious. I've always been in very cooperative teams where there is a lot of teamwork. The grad program is very social.

In the office everyone is very professional and kind. We work together to get our work done. My colleagues are also my friends. I see some socially on Friday nights, and exercise with some before/after work.

Sociable, no egos, people are generous with their time, give you the time of day and importantly have lives outside of work
