Typical days consist of drafting Income tax compliance and financial statement workpapers for Small to Medium Organisations. This usually means preparing Financials and tax returns for the primary Cash generating entity and flowing this through the group structure to the individuals who own/operate the group and preparing their individual income tax return as well.

I check emails and organise my day then I start looking through my MS or what I left of the day before and get straight into work. Ask questions when unsure. responsibilities involve making sure I have all the right workpapers, supporting documents and I am processing client work as best as I can before sending off to review.

I enjoy doing my work, and I am always learning new things. I enjoy coming to the office as the work environment is good and we have a nice office. I feel comfortable asking others for help as my team is always ready to help. At this stage, due to the low level of experience, us graduates have some days with very low amount of work, but I do understand it will change once we know everything we have to do.
