There is a clear career pathway laid out for all staff and the firm is growing well enough that opportunities are available to those who want to peruse them.

I am not to sure what the steps are or how to progress or get promoted. At the moment I am just working in my current role and perfecting my knowledge base.

GT has a clear career pathway. They have recently included the careers conversations in which we have a meeting with our team managers and discuss about our goals, what we think we have to improve, what skills we would like to have more exposure in order to learn. Then we self assess our skills with the same ones being rated by your manager. This way you can have a clear picture of the gap between yours and theirs, and know what you have to improve. They also reward people for good work, and we do not always have to wait a whole year or more to level up. Just last week we had several associates level 2 jumping to senior associate instead of associate level 3. This shows we have an opportunity to shine and be rewarded for it.

I am aware of the different progressions within my current role. I am aware that there is information on the intranet about what is required to move up the ranks but I have not really looked at this information yet.

Spend around 3 years as an associate until you get your CA, then progress to senior associate. Not aware of the promotion process beyond that.

I am not familiar with these as i havent been at the company for that long, but i have heard that GT promotes often, with most people going up a step once per year. So most people normally spend around a year and a half - 3 years as an associate, then the same as a senior, then you move up from there on merit i believe

There are guides which specifically outline actions to take to progress to the next level, and what is expected at each level.

At GT, promotion opportunities are structured with clear paths from associate to senior associate, manager, and beyond. What's particularly appealing is that promotions seem to be merit-based, meaning they're directly tied to the effort and understanding you demonstrate in your work. The more you invest in mastering your role and expanding your knowledge, the sooner you're likely to advance.

The promotion opportunities are clearly set out making it easy to project my career.

With the amount of responsibility I am given in the early stage of my career, it has progressed me at a steady rate and has given me confidence. The best way to get promoted is to show a real interest in your work, and show that you're willing to go above and beyond.

I have yet to be promoted but by the word of mouth, I heard that performance of each individual and capabilities are carefully assessed by the upper management for promotion possibilities. It prompts individuals to do better and prove themselves that they can achieve more than think they can which I think is a good motivation.

I am not at this stage currently, however from what I can see, there is room for promotion possibilities. I receive good advice to be able to perform in a way that will help me move up the ranks eventually.

Not really sure about the promotion possibilities as of yet, but there seems to be some opportunities to progress here which is good.

Naturally progress as long as you work hard and get your CA which provides more learning opportunities that come with seniority
