During my internship program and involved within Infrastructure and Utilities team, it is actually my manager responsibility to interview potential candidates. But, a lot of times I need to assist with relationship management of our candidates for future opportunities.

The interview process starts with a call asking why I'm interested in starting with the company and getting an overall understanding of my passions. There is then a second call to set up an interview. Then the formal interview in person. Once I was accepted I had to sign a contract and finish a workplace health and safety course.

Of course, research the company and utilise tools to prepare yourself for the interview. Do not stress out or worry about it too much, go with the flow but apply the tips you've used when practicing how to answer in a interview. Be positive and have bright energy, ask questions at the end!!!!

I think the best thing to do is to keep in mind that, at the end of the day, you're just having a conversation. It's normal to feel nervous before and during a job interview and, as a recruitment company, our team knows this as they see it every day. I think the best way to prepare for the interview would be to do some research about the company that you can talk about how your skills/experience could apply to your role here
