Office & Workplace at EY Australia

7.8
7.8 rating for Workplace, based on 27 reviews
Please comment on your company's office space, location and facilities. And while we're at it, please tell us a little about the dress code.
The office space is bright and conducive to productive work. Location is amongst the CBD and venues for after-work drinks. Dress code is formal Monday-Thursday, and relaxed on Friday.

Office has pretty good facilities, could add additional screens so that all desks have the option of two screens. Day lockers can also be converted to proper locked lockers as no one uses them as they get cleared out by end of the day. Fruit option is great in the morning and bathroom facilities are pretty good but should add in a toilet cleaner as seen in client offices around the city.

EY's office space is adequate for nature of the work we complete. EY Perth is due to move to a new office in 2025 which is very exciting and will likely boost my rating in this section to 10/10. The only issues I've had is where some desks don't have double monitors or may have minor IT issues.

200 George Street, Sydney, is great. The location, views, feel of the workspace, amenities - it's all very good. I recently spend a week at EY Perth and I could really feel that their space is a lot older and not as nice and conducive to work. I am grateful for our Sydney office space.

It is clean and always well kept

There isn't really a dress code. I wear casual (but appropriate) clothing most days and have never heard been told off. The office is always clean and well kept but it would be nice to have access to more machines (such as an ice machine or freezer)

Great location in the city, dress code is fun and semi formal

Location and facilities are excellent. Desks, chairs and IT equipment could be improved on some floors.
Graduate, Brisbane - 13 Oct 2021
the office could use a gym on one of the floors.

Very modern, open plan office in the CBD which is easily accessible. We have good end of trip facilities and a cafe onsite just to mention a few. Our dress code is very flexible, whilst maintaining professionalism at all times, we are encouraged to make the right dress code choices based on our client obligations.

Office facilities are great and clean, easy to get to and dress for your day is good
Midlevel, Sydney - 28 Sep 2021
Facilities are well maintained, technology is current, good location. The dress code is too informal, some employees abuse the 'dress for your day' policy. This looks very unprofessional, I do not believe this reflects the image EY strives to put forward.

Once we return to the office after lockdown I suspect that the office spaces will be at capacity and overcrowded.

Modern and generally clean. Dress code is formal.

The office is modern and located in the heart of the CBD. There are wellness and cafe facilities and the office has a hot desking policy. The firm has a dress for your day policy which allows flexibility in the dress code.
Graduate, Sydney - 22 Sep 2021
The office is nice and open with meeting rooms for calls or teaming. The dress code is great with business attire only required if meeting clients. Most people take advantage of this and wear casual clothing most days.
Midlevel, Perth - 21 Sep 2021
spacious, aesthetic bathrooms, useful kitchens, clean and big change rooms (showers, iron, sunscreen). Close to two train stations, good vicinity, great view. Dress code is smart casual, dress for your day style. Mostly relaxed smart casual and not complete corporate.
Graduate, Sydney - 21 Sep 2021
Dress code is very flexible ('dress for your day') and excellent location very near transport
Graduate, Perth - 16 Sep 2021
Location is perfect, right near a train station and the city. Facilities are good - not as nice as other offices but they're definitely quite good. The dresscode has relaxed in recent years and is now a "dress for your day". You can wear whatever you want really, not that many people in the office to judge you anyway
