What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
I am happy with the amount of money I am receiving. I understand that at this stage of my career I know very little and am still learning the ropes, so am being compensated as such. This may be the case because I am living at home with my parents and have limited expenses. I understand that my colleagues renting in Sydney have to budget hard in order to achieve financial goals.

So far no bonuses of yet. Would prefer to have my pay stated without the superannuation as it is misleading to your actual income. Actual income stated is preferred as it allows for you to see the figure and manage the income more efficiently.
Graduate, Sydney - 12 Sep 2024
As a new graduate in the professional world, I am satisfied with salary/bonuses I receive from EY.
Graduate, Perth - 02 Sep 2024
As a grad, the pay is a little unexciting. I live alone and I rent, so I certainly don't have lots of disposable income. Similarly to how you approach university (a few years of hard work and foregone income as a long-term investment in my career), I view my first few years at EY as a training ground that will pay dividends in years to come.

It is definitely higher pay nowadays compared to others at the same level less than 10 years ago
Graduate, Sydney - 30 Aug 2024
Pay is really bad, well below market value if I were to go to another company. I think EY is in line with other big 4 companies but for other companies it's quite low.
Graduate, Perth - 16 Aug 2024
No bonuses and pay is minimum where it includes super
Graduate, Perth - 15 Aug 2024
The remuneration is below market rates, however, there is ample opportunity to rapidly increase this.
Graduate, Brisbane - 13 Oct 2021
In more junior levels the promotions are very standardised. The fact that promotions only occur once a year is out of touch with general market conditions and is very frustrating
Midlevel, Perth - 12 Oct 2021
The pay is alright but can always be better as its still peanuts compared to the banking and finance sector jobs. There is no bonus which is quite annoying
Midlevel, Perth - 12 Oct 2021
Generally speaking, there are no bonuses and the pay is as expected in a big 4
Experienced, Sydney - 30 Sep 2021
Pay is too low and bonuses are inconsistent within the team
Midlevel, Sydney - 28 Sep 2021
As a cadet, due to a low base salary, consistent overtime seeming goes unrewarded.
Intern, Sydney - 28 Sep 2021
I am satisfied with my pay, I have yet to receive a bonus. I have noticed that there are some large pay differences from team to team.
Graduate, Melbourne - 28 Sep 2021
Huge pay disparities exist within the team, especially for those that are homegrown compared to lateral hires.
Midlevel, Sydney - 25 Sep 2021
The salary is comparable to equivalent roles in similar firms. Salary increases are a result of merit and company performance.
Graduate, Sydney - 22 Sep 2021
The pay is low compared to industry and often is a key reason staff leave or look for work elsewhere. It often is frustrating when working very long hours.
Midlevel, Perth - 21 Sep 2021
Grateful to receive any income, but compared to industry it is lower. Bonuses and perks are incredibly generous.
Graduate, Sydney - 21 Sep 2021
Graduate starting salary is too low for tech-specific domains
Graduate, Perth - 16 Sep 2021
Our service line does not get any bonuses. Pay is decent if you continuously move up the ladder, but hard to survive if you are a single parent on a grad salary
Graduate, Perth - 15 Sep 2021
What are your company's best or most unusual perks? For example: free tickets, free dinners, moving expenses, taxis, pension, etc.
The free dinner and taxi after 8pm was good during busy season!
Graduate, Sydney - 13 Sep 2024
The best perks are the applause points and the discounts however they aren't that substantial and have not yet received any applause points.
Graduate, Sydney - 12 Sep 2024
The best perk I've experienced in EY is receiving wellbeing allowances to use on anything that I like.
Graduate, Perth - 02 Sep 2024
It is fine. Nothing too exciting. $299 p/a wellbeing bonus is welcomed but not life-changing.
Graduate, Sydney - 30 Aug 2024
Wellbeing Incentive (best)
Graduate, Sydney - 30 Aug 2024
Best perks would be the applause system. It's a good system to be rewarded for hard work and it's easier to get than bonuses because there isn't as much red tape
Graduate, Perth - 16 Aug 2024
Trips to clients if in certain departments. Great functions
Graduate, Perth - 15 Aug 2024
There is no Gym reimbursement for staff in Perth so I'm quite annoyed about that. perk would be beers in the fridge but that's a minimal perk.
Midlevel, Perth - 12 Oct 2021
Applause points to purchase gift cards
Experienced, Sydney - 30 Sep 2021
Applause points are nice and good social events within the team
Midlevel, Sydney - 28 Sep 2021
Gift vouchers for tracking wellbeing. I have already received over $100 in vouchers after a short amount of time.
Graduate, Melbourne - 28 Sep 2021
There is a reward scheme where employees can chose from a variety of vouchers from large retailers.
Graduate, Sydney - 22 Sep 2021
Discounts on stores and the work functions
Midlevel, Perth - 21 Sep 2021
Free team activities (painting, diy cooking kits), free lunches
Graduate, Sydney - 21 Sep 2021
Free drink events which are common
Graduate, Perth - 16 Sep 2021
Free monthly dinners
