I am an audit graduate and am slowly learning how to perform an audit from start to finish. This has involved me working on increasingly complicated accounts and assisting my seniors and managers in this process. Day-to-day I am typically responsible for sampling, discussing problems with client, and helping clean-up/present workbooks for seniors/managers to review.

My day-to-day responsibilities include updating seniors on my work, completing my assigned tasks, communicating with the client and building relationships

As a graduate consultant in the risk team, my day-to-day responsibilities vary based on the engagement/project I am working on. Risk projects tend to have three key phases: Planning, Fieldwork, and Reporting. The planning stage often involves tasks such as requesting information from clients, confirming the issue you are solving for them, and completing administrative work. Fieldwork is where I will deal with client communication, analyzing documents, figuring out risks/findings, and attempting to figure out where the client is going right or wrong. Once this is all completed, I will assist the team with writing the final report and sending it to the client for review. EY also provides a lot of learning opportunities when you aren't as busy with work. This involves internal modules, courses, and qualifications you can obtain.

I am an audit graduate. I spend 80% of my working hours in Excel, doing various tasks to verify the accuracy of the financial statements of our clients. The work is mostly fine, but it can be hard to step back and see the bigger picture at times.

I work in the Tax department and work with multiple clients in a wide range of industries

As a consultant, I am responsible for performing fieldwork for engagements involving interview clients, synthesising documentation and writing reports.

Prepare audit workpapers and engage with clients

Sorting out problems and helping engagements through their life cycle and getting the desired results for the team and the client.

Provide valuation services to Client's pre/post transaction

Auditing of Financial Statements. Speaking to clients

There are so many endless opportunities at EY that it really is about the more you invest, the more you get out - which is very exciting as you are working towards building your career.

I have a good amount of work to do each day, not too much but not too little. However this is very easily subject to change.

Completing Excel spreadsheets.

In my role I work on a variety of projects for our clients that involve their people - whether that be defining and creating a cultural blueprint, working on a HR technology implementation, providing training and development or guiding a company through large organisational change to provide the best experience for their people.

My day to day responsibilities are satisfying with a significant level of ownership over a project but with good management review

Sync up with team, assessment and reviews, processing of reports, analysing systems

Scheduling meetings, building discussion material, designing workshops

Emails, tax compliance, bookkeeping, various admin tasks
