I'm currently doing software engineering, and I quite enjoy the work I'm doing. For a typical day I log on, check all of my emails, messages, team channels etc. In case there's anything I need to be updated on, then I begin my work, reach out if I need assistance etc. The team has daily standups so we can get up to date on how our work is progressing and as we complete cards move on to the next ones within the sprint. We are responsible for the engineering of the solutions that the business decides on. We are essentially value creators.

I just rolled into a new rotation in property finance. Most of my tasks involve helping with month-end processes such as helping with variance analysis tasks. But most of my day-to-day responsibilities are almost always on excel and working with numbers and formulas. I also end emails to other stakeholders to get information from them so my day-to-day responsibilities also include sending emails.

I've completed a variety of different roles as a graduate. Most roles include bau work and reporting aspects that need to be completed weekly, project work, as well as some leadership responsibilities in projects. There is a great opportunity as well to learn and view aspects of project work that you cannot help with but is a great learning opportunity.
