Management at AECOM

I have a mentor separate to my manager, but my manage still keeps me informed where my knowledge lacks. Very typical manager but that's nothing to complain about

Managers are extremely accessible, happy to yarn and listen to anyone which is great. Generally really good at rewarding performance and acknowledging teams and individuals for their hard work, publicly and privately.

Super approachable, accessible and make a genuine effort with early professionals. Can't really name anything they could realistically do better.

Managers are great and do an awesome job. If they had more time dedicated to helping and inspiring junior staff I think that would be hepful

Line managers (Team Leads) are extremely accessible with great knowledge and understanding but usually overworked. Approach to feedback and performance is motivating.

My manager is always accessible and I am comfortable approaching him. He will come and see me if there is anything to be discussed. Performance and feedback is conducted in a professional manner.

There are managers at multiple levels, who provide guidance about individual and team needs.

Varies significantly from person to person. Some managers are very good mentors and take time to help you. In my personal experience, even managers who take less time to guide you, are still very friendly and have pretty open communication with you.

I sit next to my manager and he is great.

Very accessible. They make great mentors. Very approachable, always support me in every way during my career growth.

More internal communication could be undertaken to keep everyone involved, instead it tends to trickle down. The managers are generally knowledgeable but busy, it is hard to get one-on-one time with them. Criticism is given out more often than praise, however this is improving

Most of the management is good. Sometimes tho it can feel like there is a bit too much middle management.

I am satisfied with my manager, his experience and position provide strong support and guidance me my role. I feel comfortable in reaching out to my managers for assistance and questions, the communication and feedback I receive has been consistently helpful, constructive and positive.

I've had quality managers who are inherently supportive of you, your situation, and the tasks at hand. Your managers aren't necessarily your mentors (I believe conflict of interest) but they give good advice nevertheless. Feedback is approached well, noticed little on credit stealing, and overall great on teamwork.

Previously, it was a bit complex, but now that my manager has changed, she pays attention and keeps in contact with me to check on the progress every now and then.

My manager has been pretty good so far, giving me good pointers and guiding me in the right direction career wise.

I find they are easy to talk to and great at listening to any issue you have. Also, understanding if you need time off leave or sickness if something comes up. No one is annoyed if you go over to them unexpectedly to have a chat about work if you stuck or just general guidance.

Very accessible, company leaders make a lot of time for employees including graduates and I was impressed with how approachable they are.
